‘Engineer turned photographer’ isn’t a new story for everyone!! Faisal Shaikh also known as TheClickerGuy is a Food and Product Photographer based in Mumbai. He started his photography journey in 2015. He’s having keen experience in still photography.

He began his journey in photography with food brands, gradually expanding to wedding photography. His excellent work gained traction through word of mouth, leading him to venture into food and product photography.

In his view, Professionalism doesn’t mean making zero mistakes and setting up everything at once. Every circumstance is different depending upon the various aspects such as location, light, product, etc. Professionalism is how fast one can identify the problem, experiment, and solve it.

Challenges

  • Client Acquisition through Word of Mouth: TheClickerGuy relies on word-of-mouth referrals to attract clients, showcasing the trust and satisfaction earned through past projects.
  • Organic Traffic Insufficiency: Despite having a website, TheClickerGuy experienced a shortfall in organic traffic, limiting its reach and potential visibility to a wider audience.
  • Online Presence Challenges: TheClickerGuy’s website faced significant challenges, including a lack of search engine rankings, low organic visitor counts, and a weak online presence, contributing to restricted online inquiries.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Organic Traffic Growth: As the website lacks organic visitors, the goal of the client is to increase brand awareness by increasing organic traffic.
  • Enhancing Search Rankings: As the website has not strong online presence, the website needs to be ranked on the keywords people are actually searching for and needs to improve rankings against competitors’ websites.

  • We conducted keyword research for these pages and identified several keywords.

  • These enhancements have been made to ensure a seamless browsing experience and enhance search engine crawlability.
  • The website is now integrated with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Furthermore, we have submitted an XML sitemap to Google Search Console, facilitating improved indexing.
  • Additionally, a thorough review of the robots.txt file has been conducted to ensure more effective crawling.

3. Content Strategy:

  • We have generated content based on extensively researched keywords, ensuring that the created material fulfills the needs and interests of the target audience of TheClikerGuy.
  • This encompassed crafting content for the home page, food page, and product pages.

  • After completing the content, we proceeded to incorporate it into the website’s pages.
  • We generated and optimized meta titles and meta descriptions for the home page, food, and product pages.
  • Organized header tags, applied image alt tags, executed internal linking, and meticulously formatted the content to ensure optimal readability.

  • During the initial two months, our progress was marked by 739 impressions and 50 clicks, reflecting a promising start.
  • Spanning the period from December 2021 to January 2023, TheClickerGuy’s website garnered a remarkable 15628 impressions across the online landscape, accompanied by 279 clicks. This achievement was further highlighted by a consistent monthly average click rate falling within the range of 50 to 70.
  • In the time frame from December 2021 to January 2022, our user base numbered just 18 users. Remarkably, we steered this number upwards to an impressive 260 users from November 2022 to December 2022.
  • In the initial months, there were around 5 to 6 inquiries, but subsequently, their number escalated to 25 to 30.
